I am undergoing a career change and I must say that it is quite interesting! I have to thank my parents as well as my husband and other family members who have been extremely supportive of me during the process thus far! I know that there are many of you who feel "stuck" in ordinary life and desire to make a change but the   "I'm too busy bug" creeps into the picture. I totally understand, I have been there too! My advice is to think about what it is that you have always desired to do no matter how old or young you are! You have to take your desires a step farther and write them down and post them where you can see them. It is your time to make it your reality! It may not happen over night so don't go into your journey expecting that! Set realistic (measurable, obtainable) goals! For example, I will walk 30 min twice a day for 1 month. Please know and understand that just because your list (treatment plan) is posted that you do not have to completely...

I have wanted these since the age of 16.  Never could have imagined the versatility of these things.  So many styles I am now able to achieve.  Never looking back to those long ole` weaves.  Man, I never thought my scalp would breathe!  Did the " big chop " five times before this;  But could never get it right until I found youtube exists!  Now, I'm natural, locked and happy...... welcome to my journey;  so in love with my "nappy" (naturally, accessorizing & prettifying, yourself)!

It is no secret that men are initially attracted to what they see. However, to keep them enthralled it takes more. It takes having common interest, spirituality, mutual respect, excitement and humor. They make the possibilities endless! What caused Sylva from Beauty vs Booty?  and  Beauty vs Booty? Part 2  to feel a tinge of jealousy? Her husband, Larry, not only looked at another woman but appeared to have ignored her while doing so! Sylva is a fairly new mom who lost a part of her identity; her style of dress. That does not mean that she is not going to reclaim her lost sense of self but the question is how is she going to do it? Well, take a look at this short script of Larry and Sylva. LARRY: Yes, I looked and I can't take it back! It's already done! What I can do is explain myself! SYLVA: Ok, I'm listening! LARRY: She honestly reminded me of when I first met you! SYLVA: Huh? So you really think I want to hear that? Try again!

It is not an option! It is a command. Did you know he only sees you as a friend? No commitment but in your mind different Oops, your bad, you messed around and caught feelings The last time you checked, have you visited his home? Met his parents or answered his phone? The truth is right before your eyes but your mind keep telling you those little empty lies.

Some say beauty is in the "eye of the beholder" Some say it's natural yet others say it's made She says makeup enhances the beauty that is already there... He says it shines from within All the colors are beautiful not just one...From sun-kissed to bronzed to the color of cotton farms.  She is as beautiful as beauty is to see

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself; But let every man prove his own work , and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another, Galatians 6:3-4.  I just thought I would speak on jealousy today! What is it?, How does it come about? and how to work towards getting rid of it! When I think of  the word Jealousy, I think of covetousness, gossip, nosiness, bitterness, envy and lying. Covetousness, envy and bitterness is self- explanatory. However, the other three words; gossip, nosiness and lying may not be your normal words associated with jealousy but I will explain why it does to me.

I want to first discuss the difference between a glance (brief look), a stare (a fixed look) and a double-take (a delayed reaction to something unexpected, immediately after one's first reaction) before I delve into the situation of Larry and Sylva in BEAUTY VS BOOTY . I wonder what you are thinking! Which one (glance, stare or double-take) do you find or think is the most respectful when you are out with your significant other?
