PERFECT 12: WAYS TO LOVE & GROW WITH YOUR PARTNER

It is important, especially in a relationship or marriage, to understand how your words and actions affect others. Below are some things you can do that sound really easy and, in fact, will become healthy lifestyle changes with lots of practice amongst your significant other and yourself!

  1. Learn to be humble; having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's own importance.
  2. Daily consider the stress and/or negative events that may have taken place in your partner's day or life.
  3. Apologize when you are wrong!
  4. Know that it is okay to have differences but it is not okay to physically fight and verbally abuse each other over them!
  5. Write down and pray on things that you can or could do better.
  6. Ask your partner what you need him or her to do more of? Don't take offense to the answer but instead use it as a platform of communication.
  7. Build your partner up daily! For example, you are the most beautiful woman or handsome man in the world. It's okay to be creative with this, I encourage it!
  8. Pray over your partner and attend church together!
  9. Be careful and do not use disparaging jokes and sarcasms toward your partner.
  10. Be quick to listening and understanding your partner; be very slow to anger!
  11.  It's okay to be stylish but remember to respect your partner as well as yourself in the way that you dress. 
  12. Keep yourself looking and feeling great! It really does matter when you are in a relationship!
